The Hustler [Blu-ray]I liked this a lot more thirty years ago and maybe it has sunk to less than a five spot, but Newman, Jackie Gleason, George C. Scott, Piper Laurie really still shine. Followed many years later by Color of Money. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

The Hustler [Blu-ray]They should've quit while ahead and not made the sequel. There was no reason for The Color of Money to have won any awards when compared with the original. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

The Hustler [Blu-ray]I was told this was a top ten movie of all time, man was I let down. Paul Newman is a good actor, but this movie is incredibly slow and doesn't really go anywhere. I'm all about character development, but this movie could have had something else. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

The Hustler [Blu-ray]
Great film. No car chases or crashes, no special effects either. Just a fine story well written and acted. Paul Newman, George C. Scott, and Jackie Gleason in a straight portrayal of Minnesota Fats. Gleason did his own pool shots in the film. He was quite good at the game.
