HTC Inspire 4G Colorful Leopard Hard Phone Case..."Evil Dead" movies are supposed to be gory, and this one isn't. It's more of a comedy than anything, and barely qualifies as a horror movie. HTC Inspire 4G Colorful Leopard Hard Phone Case...This movie was really SILLY!!!Bruce Campbell is a total card!!!His character was NOT to be taken seriously!!!But the funniest thing in the movie(besides him)were those RETARDED skeletons!!!I mean they were trying to stretch his mouth by putting their fingers in it!!!He was even funny as the obnoxious usher in "Spiderman 2"!!! HTC Inspire 4G Colorful Leopard Hard Phone Case...My alltime favorite movie. I jsut noticed my SN is Ash_WIlliams too, not a coincidense. I respect people who sya this is the worst evil dead movie (I dissagree but respect them) but i hate people who complain that it's a bad movie cause it doesn't make sense, THAT'S BECAUSE THERE"S TWO OTHERS DAMMIT! AS for the guy who said he can't relate to Ash, no duh. DO you relate to The Governator in Predator? If you say you do, you're a jackass. HTC Inspire 4G Colorful Leopard Hard Phone Case...As satire this is a solid 5. As strict horror it is a definite 1. The evil beings in this thing are so unbelievably ridiculous only the most naive person would find them frightening in the least. The acting: Great in the case of Campbell who really carries his performance to new levels of lampooning. He delivers his lines(some are all-time greats) with such zeal it is clearly evident how much he relished this role. Bad in the case of Arthur and Henry the Red. I only say this because their attempts to play the "straight" role as shakespearian thespians is just terrible. Don't get me wrong. I loved them as well. EVERYTHING was satire in this film from the horror genre itself to the self-absorbed lead down to the shakespearian leader figures. The movies wit and sophistication are refreshing. For a person like myself who really enjoys horror movies and who has seen so many bad ones it was a real treat to feast on this movie. It took everything that makes a horror film bad and made it worse. Satirizing the genre like Wierd Al Yankovich does music videos. I have only seen the second movie once and cannot recall it very well and I have not seen the first at all. I am eager to rent them and see how good the overall trilogy is. This movie is a MUST see for horror movie fans. Completely entertaining in every way and contains some of the best dialogue of any movie I have ever seen. From the moment he lifts that "boom stick" over his head and says "Shop smart, shop S-Mart" you know you are in for a one of a kind experience. A satirical masterpiece. HTC Inspire 4G Colorful Leopard Hard Phone Case...I'm with Mr. Pink and Thorne. This movie is a great finisher for the trilogy. Ash becomes such a badass in this chapter. Those who find him shallow are dead wrong. He's been through so much, a cabin of evil creatures(twice) losing his hand and his girlfriend! HTC Inspire 4G Colorful Leopard Hard Phone Case...words cannot describe how much i love this movie. this is provably my favorite b-movie ever. bruce campbell is my hero. sam raimi is a genius. ok people who watch this movie and are expecting to be scared are to be sorely dissapointed, because this movie is in no way scary. this movie is hilarious. for anyone with a dark sense of humor, you need to see this movie. it is the perfect blend of horror and comedy. the evil dead trilogy is the best trilogy in the history of moviemaking, and army of darkness is the perfect way to end it all. great acting(you rule bruce!), great one-liners and catch phrases, and and well, an all out great movie.HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!! HTC Inspire 4G Colorful Leopard Hard Phone Case...Sam Raimi did a terrific with Army of Darkness, the third installment of the Evil Dead series. This horrorcomedy went for more of the slapstick funny jokes, which differed from its predecessors. The snappy dialogue by Bruce Campbell along with the visual effects makes this the best of the trilogy. Unlike most horror movies, where the bad guy returns from the dead, this one is based solely upon the stupidity of the good guy. Funny / scarey. The best of the series IMO. Bruce Campbell becomes a sort of anti-hero with super-human martial skills. Intersting and entertaining film.
