Great Player with top of the line features

Strengths: Plays both HD DVD and Blu Ray Disc, upgradable firmware, HQV post-processor, 7.1 multi-channel output

Weakness: lack of USB port

Very good product

Strengths: Got the best of both worlds, Blu-ray & HD DVD formats. No matter which format wins this battle, you are one step ahead of the game.

Weakness: Takes more time to load movies.

This DVD player is highly recommended for HDTV's with a 1080p, higher contrast ratio (15000:1 or higher) and an Auto Motion Plus 120Hz (ie. Samsung's 46'' HDTV, Model #: LN-T4671F). Also, consider purchasing a higher end HDMI cable (Monster 1000).
